Dark Talon

Ship Log

Star Date 573
Well, Its time to settle down and begin the business of running a
tight ship. After a few experiments to see how battles go,
(and loosing several to the above 'enemy' list), the star ship
DarkTalon will now only endeaver to make serious moves.

Star Date 577
   Ship Status:
I have been spending the last few turns at Kruger making repairs
and gathering crew. Time to train the one's I have, as they don't
know how to fix much.
   Survey:
Kruger is a great place to sell chocolate. Also a good spot to
sell scrap: $25. Able to recrute personnell and has a good engineering
school.

Star Date 606
   Ship Status:
Commendations to crew are in order for their efforts in repairing
primitive and basic modules critical to this mission. Although most
primitive modules are about used up, it should be possible to acquire
new ones now in short order.
While it seems to be a commonly held notion that a proper
ship's captain should only appropriate modules from computer generated
entities, this seems all too hypocritical. In fact isn't this exactly
the method used historicly in war: Dehumanize your enemy so that one
may slauter them at will without remorse? Its interesting to see that
the members of the peace-nic clubs have all established themselves on
the carcass of computer generated ships. For this reason and because
this ships mission demands the replenishment of its primitive modules,
this ship will fire on other non-computer generated ships.

Another restart :( The problems found were that although I had the
weapons of mass destruction, I couldn't find anyone to fight -- they
all fled and my ship degraded. I finaly got stuck in enemy teritory
without weapons or shieds and no warp drive to move out. Die and learn
is what I always say :)
