Hello space traveller! You seem to have jumped to my humble abode. I am John Lee, Captain of the starship Space Explorer in the PBM game To Boldly Go. I started playing on turn 815 and am now cruising in search of the unknown. If you wish to trade with me, you can contact me at my email address at the bottom of this page.

Captain's Intentions
My goals are to survive and to have a succesful ship. I'll make money in any way possible right now. I'll think about further long term goals later. I will only fight those who betray me, pirates and aliens.

Ship's Log:
Turn 815
The ship runs into wasp 23 at Kochab. After a battle lasting 5 rounds, we end up with several new modules, including three primitive warp drives. This victory propels us to the top of the ranking for growth in modules.
Turn 816
We head off to make repairs. Nothing much else of interest.
Turn 817
We jump away and procure ourselves with a group of mercenaries. We also discover adventures at the last star system we were in. We are now in the middle of having our applications to buy some modules processed.
Turn 818
The engineering officer is overjoyed at having two new warp drives to work with, one of which is a basic warp. We have won the mercenary contract at Bootis, providing us with enough energy to buy one more basic warp drive and a basic cloak before heading into the great unknown.
Turn 819
The modules we intended to buy were snapped up too quickly, but we are in no hurry to buy anymore in the first place. We jump away to another star. We are still repairing the damage incurred at our battle with the wasps.
Turn 820
Nothing of interest happened.
Turn 821
At the star we jump too, we find a terminal already accessed by us, but not hacked yet. Incredibly, three of the ship's four officers will be attmepting to hack it. The other one will be training crew. Await further updates on this...
Turn 822
Well, the Engineering officer hacks his first starnet. Meanwhile, we engage combat with a beetle ship. Due to this combat, we get away with many modules. The only demo module which has yet to be replaced are the sensors. We should sit atop the highest growth in modules ranking for quite a while...
Turn 845
This log hasn't been updated in a while, but just to let the rest of the universe know, I've got some modules I'm willing to trade.
Turn 851
Both our engineering and science officers achieve enlightenment!!! We also defeat a pig ship, after accidentally opening fire. However, we did not gain any modules from our endeavour.

There will be more updates to come, when I am free. You may hail the captain at: Com Link 470.
